The Punjabi singer has undergone significant change since she was eliminated from the Big Brother house as the runner-up. She went on a strict diet, exercise routine, and wardrobe overhaul. She says she made the move on purpose because of the criticism she received for her Bigg Boss look.

The actress discussed her efforts to better herself in an interview with the Press Trust of India (PTI). Shehnaaz Gill claims that she improved herself by taking others’ suggestions to heart. Several fat-shaming comments were made during her Bigg Boss viewing.

The actress says she was only allowed to wear salwar kameez because of her size. As a result, she went on a diet and made other lifestyle changes that defied conventional wisdom and would continue to do so in the future.

Professionally, she runs a Youtube chat show under the name Desi Vibes with Shenaaz Gill. In the Hindi film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, she made her debut among a slew of other actors.

The actress has recently wrapped production on her upcoming film alongside Rhea Kapoor. Anil Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar are also rumored to be in the cast. Along with Nora Fatehi and Ritesh Deshmukh, Shehnaaz is expected to appear in Sajid Khan’s 100%.
