Actress Shilpa Shetty has shared photos of her Kanjak puja at home with some children. She celebrated Ashtami at home. The actress celebrated an Ashtami puja at her home on Wednesday. She took to Instagram to share photos of girls and boys who became “Kanjaks” on this auspicious day.

The children received stoles with the inscription “jai mata di” written on them and served Halwa, Chane and Poori, as is the tradition in the last two days of Navratra. Shilpa served the poor people herself as they lined up for lunch. In another video, Shilpa performed the children’s Arti and they smiled at each other.

Shilpa previously shared photos and videos of Navratri celebrations at home. On Monday, she shared a video of herself, her son Viaan and her daughter Samisha attending an aarti. She shared the video and wrote: “My motivation #Monday … my children and my beliefs. Some things can’t just be passed down to the next generation without them witnessing us doing it. It is important to me that my children grow up with the same values and traditions that our parents taught us. Sowing the seeds of faith in both of them from a young age was something I always wanted … because I know that faith will grow stronger and become deeper as we age and help us experience life in all its splendor by surrendering to the Almighty. Happy Monday to everyone.”

Shilpa and her family were recently in the middle of a controversy after her husband Raj Kundra was arrested for alleged association with a pornographic bully. After spending nearly a month in prison, Raj was released on bail.

Shilpa was silent on the matter for a while, but then said in a statement: “MY POSITION … I HAVE NOT COMMENTED AND I will continue to refrain from doing so in this case as it is a matter of submission on behalf. I affirm my philosophy as a celebrity “Never complain, never explain”. All I can say is that as this is an ongoing investigation, I have full confidence in the Mumbai police and the Indian judiciary. “
