The current track of Anupamaa revolves around Dimpy’s death who passed away due to fire in the house. Aadhya, daughter of Anupama is being blamed for this incident. After the pressure of the family, Anupama tells everyone that she will take Aadhya to the police station and will register a case against her. Aadhya hears this and after this, she gets hurt and leaves the house. After the leap, there are reports that a character named Kajal will be seen playing the lead role in the show along with Rupali Ganguly in ‘Anupamaa’.

A source close to the show revealed, ‘Kajal will be an independent-minded and courageous girl but she will have a lot of emotions hidden in her. The makers are writing a sad story for Kajal, who has lost her father due to her mother’s mistake and hence she hates her. She holds her mother responsible for her father’s death and thus she is moving away from them. She wants to fulfill her father’s lost dream. She is a person who finds a way to help the poor and can even cheat rich people to help the poor.’

Meanwhile, Shivangi Joshi posted for her fans about her entry in ‘Anupama’ after the leap and clarified to the fans that she was not going to be a part of the show. Sharing this post on Instagram, Shivangi Joshi wrote, ‘Hello everyone, there is news of me being a part of Anupama. I thought I should be clear that I am not doing the show and put an end to all the rumors. I also wish the team lots of love.’

However, it will be interesting to see who will play the next lead role in ‘Anupama’. No one has been finalized for the role of Aadhya yet and she might be the lead role.
