Bollywood diva Shraddha Kapoor often makes hearts skip a beat through her gorgeous visuals on social media. But she is not just a pretty face. Besides being a fantastic actor, Kapoor is also trying her hands at entrepreneurship. Recently, she graced the annual summit of a leading business magazine in New Delhi where she talked at length about her journey in the business arena and what is about to come in the future.

Crediting all the knowledge she gained on investments to her father, Shakti Kapoor, Shraddha began by saying, “When I had started earning money, like anybody who had just started earning their own.. you want to spend it, shop etc. So, once my dad asked me – okay how much more shopping do you want to do? How much you will spend your money on shopping? You have to do something about the money. That’s when he told me what an investment is.”

“I was completely mind blown when he started explaining what shares are, and that was the beginning for me. That’s when he started helping me with the investments in various fields and various ways,” she explained.

Having invested in brands of various categories, Shraddha said that she likes to step into something she feels relatable to. She gave some examples of brands she is a proud co-owner of and told about how she connects to them. She further added, “Currently, I am a part owner of these few brands. It has been such an amazing journey for me, to learn about investments, ownership and shares. I call myself an entrepreneur, because of the amazing brands that have shook hands with me.”

On the acting front, Shraddha Kapoor will next be seen in Luv Ranjan’s untitled film opposite Ranbir Kapoor. It is set for a Holi release in 2023.
