Actress Ankita Lokhande has strongly criticised Rozlyn Khan for alleging that Hina Khan is using her cancer diagnosis as a publicity stunt. The controversy erupted after Rozlyn’s remarks in an earlier interview, which did not sit well with Lokhande. The Pavitra Rishta actress took to social media to express her disappointment, emphasising that her husband, Vicky Jain, had personally met Hina during her chemotherapy.

On Tuesday, Lokhande shared a snippet of Rozlyn’s interview on her Instagram story, condemning her comments. “How could someone think so low? That’s so cheap! For your kind information, madam, this girl Hina is fighting cancer with such bravery, and I know it. Vikki met her a few days back in the hospital while she was undergoing chemotherapy, and Rocky was by her side. Vikki told me he was in tears seeing her in that condition,” she wrote, extending her support to Hina Khan. “Hina, you are strong, our Sher Khan! This isn’t easy for you or for anyone going through this. God bless you, girl. This too shall pass.”

However, Rozlyn Khan did not take Lokhande’s statement lightly and responded by bringing up the actress’s past. She accused Lokhande of using the death of her ex-boyfriend, Sushant Singh Rajput, for sympathy during her Bigg Boss stint. Additionally, Rozlyn claimed that more members from the industry would likely come forward to support Hina.

“A woman who could use the death of her ex for Bigg Boss is preaching to me about cheapness! Not a big surprise… I posted a video a few days ago mentioning how these TV actresses are using their fan pages to reshare my videos, harassing and trolling me. Now, @lokhandeankita has publicly attacked my character,” Rozlyn wrote.

Rozlyn, a cancer survivor herself, further accused Hina of remaining silent on questions regarding her treatment. “Since I asked a simple question about a 15-hour surgery and discrepancies in Hina’s treatment, she has chosen to remain silent. The hospital cited patient privacy concerns, but they took another route to attack me. I faced bullying from unidentified people, bot-driven negative comments, and TV actress fan pages sharing my videos to troll me. I had no option but to inform the local police,” she added.

Meanwhile, Hina Khan continues to receive support from the film and television industry. Actresses Mahima Chaudhary and Sonali Bendre, who have personally battled cancer, have also extended their encouragement.
