‘So Proud’; R Madhavan Celebrates As Son Vedaant Lifts 7 Medals In Khelo India 2023!

R Madhavan is one of the finest actors that the industry has ever produced. He is quite sharp in his skills. And just like him, his son Vedaant is also leading in the field he is currently in. Recently, Vedaant has made the his father and the entire nation proud with his big win in ongoing tournament.

Vedaant, who is an international level swimmer has lifted five gold medals and two silver medals at the Khelo India Youth Games 2022 in Madhya Pradesh. He won gold for swimming in 100m, 200m and 1500m and silver in 400m and 800m.

R Madhavan celebrates son Vedaant’s win

R Madhavan shared the news with his fans and followers. He took to his official Twitter handle to pen a heartfelt note for his talented son. The actor wrote, “VERY grateful & humbled by the performances of @fernandes_apeksha ( 6 golds,1 silver,PB $ records) & @VedaantMadhavan (5golds &2 silver). Thank you @ansadxb & Pradeep sir for the unwavering efforts & @ChouhanShivraj & @ianuragthakur for the brilliant #KheloIndiaInMP. So proud.”

In a continuing tweet, Madhavan added, “With gods grace -Gold in 100m, 200m and 1500m and silver in 400m and 800m.”

Vedaant’s achievements

For the unversed, Vedaant Madhavan has won several awards for India in the past. He got a gold medal in the men’s 800m freestyle event at the Danish Open swimming event in Copenhagen. Before that, he had bagged a silver in the 1500m freestyle at the same meet.

At the Latvia Open in March 2021, Vedaant won a bronze medal, He also took home seven medals (four silver and three bronze) at the Junior National Aquatic Championships last year.

R Madhavan’s work front

As far as R Madhavan is concerned, the actor was last seen in ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’. He portrayed the role of defamed ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan in the film. Next up for the star is C Sankaran Nair’s biopic alongside Akshay Kumar.
