The couple has been sharing photos and videos from the big day, and on July 9, Sonakshi shared a series of photos with descriptions for each one, helping us understand their adorable moments.

Sonakshi Sinha says she got ready before Zaheer Iqbal for their wedding 

Sonakshi Sinha recently took to Instagram to share heartwarming photos from her wedding to Zaheer Iqbal. Beautiful moments from the wedding as well as their preparations for the big day are featured in the post.  Sonakshi describes the first and second pictures as showing the couple embracing their love for each other, “Being filmy and making our own music (since 2017), here in the midst of getting our wedding photos clicked!! Pic 1 is now my wallpaper”

The third photo shows the bride getting ready for the big day, while the groom admires her. She wrote: “Hero watching his heroine get ready for her dream role. And since there’s too much peace in the process… of course he HAS to disrupt it by saying something silly to make her laugh”

Sonakshi also mentioned that she was the first to prepare for the wedding before Zaheer and captioned it, “Ever heard of a bride who got ready before her groom? No?? Well, here you go. Bride also cried looking at herself in Sindoor for the first time!!!” The 6th picture shows an intimate moment between the couple as Zaheer kisses his wife’s cheek. The couple can be seen taking a stroll around the house they will build together and taking a moment to breathe outside in the last picture.

In an exclusive interview with Hindustan Times, Saqib Saleem, the best friend of the couple, talked candidly about the wedding, describing it as a lovely love story for people of all ages and comparing it to a “ghar ki shaadi.” Salman Khan, Rekha, Kajol, Anil Kapoor, Aditi Rao Hydari, Aditi Qureshi, Sharmin Segal, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and other Bollywood stars were present at the wedding reception.
