Adipurush, directed by Om Raut, has a fresh addition to its outstanding cast. Sonal Chauhan has confirmed her involvement in the film, and she will star with Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan, and Kriti Sanon. The Jannat actress will play a prominent role in the legendary film, which is a retelling of the Ramayana.

When asked about the speculations going on about her being part of the film the actress confirmed it, and said, “Yes, I’m a part of Adipurush and I’m excited about it. It’s a very different world from the kind of work I’ve done so far. I am sure the audience will enjoy the magnum opus that is Adipurush.” This is Sonal’s first mythological project.

In addition to Adipurush, the actress will star in the film The Ghost. Sonal took over for Jacqueline Fernandes, who had been cast in the lead role of The Ghost, and this is Sonal’s first work with Nagarjuna. Praveen Sattaru is the director of this high-octane action film.

According to rumours, she will portray a significant role in this reworking of the classic Ramayana passage. T-Series Films and Retrophiles are producing the film, which is being shot in Hindi and Telugu at the same time. The film will also be released in dubbed versions in Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada, according to the producers. This upcoming drama will be one of India’s most expensive films to date.

In Adipurush, Prabhas will portray Raghava, while Kriti Sanon will play Janaki. Saif Ali Khan will play the role of Lankesh in the film. On January 12, 2023, this film will be released in theatres.

The film’s shoot is now over, and the movie is currently in post-production. It’s expected that VFX would be used for almost 90% of the picture, creating a stunning cinematic experience.

Om Raut made his film debut in 2020 with Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, which starred Ajay Devgn in the lead role. Meanwhile, Prabhas will next be seen in Prashanth Neel’s action drama Salaar, in which he will portray the protagonist.
