Aside from that, I’m looking forward to speaking as a keynote speaker at the School of Information’s seminar on ‘Social Media Influencers & South Asia & Africa’s New Political Economy.” In an interview with Mid-Day, Swara said, “This honor humbles me and glad for the chance to benefit from the immense intellectual resources available at U-Mich, which are made possible by the generosity of the professors, students, and libraries. The prospect of engaging in intriguing discussions and attending courses that are of interest to me here and expanding my knowledge of diverse cultural and intellectual concerns is very appealing to me.”
Mathew Hull, Chair of the Centre for South Asia Studies, said, “Swara Bhasker has agreed to join us, and we are delighted to have her. She contributes a plethora of knowledge and experience in acting, filmmaking, and politics to our students and teachers.”
