Netflix has bagged yet another movie for online streaming!

Akshay Kumar starrer Sooryavanshi will release on OTT platform Netflix soon. The Rohit Shetty film was supposed to release on big screen on 30th April 2021 but the ongoing pandemic made it impossible. The leading man was excited to announce the release of its movie on Twitter handle

“We promised you all a cinematic experience and that’s what you will get… the wait is finally over! Aa Rahi Hai Police. #Sooryavamshi releasing worldwide in cinemas on 30th April 2021.”

But as per the reports, the digital giant has acquired rights for its release for a whooping 200 Crore! The makers are ready to announce the exciting news with an official announcement very soon! Reports also claim it will release the multi-starrer Sooryavanshi on May 28 2021.

However, makers of the movie aren’t sure about the success of the film as the pandemic has taken a toll on movie theatres being run on 50% capacity, almost all over the country with a surety of rules not getting better in the coming days forcing it to release on OTT platform!

Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi featuring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in the title roles is a cop action drama. While we see Akshay and Katrina in a project together after a 10 year long wait! 

Although their chemistry is lovable and much appreciated by the audience the movie is something different from their last films together! Like Rohit Shetty’s other movies, this drama has a special guest appearance of Ajay Devgan and Ranveer Singh as Singham and Simmba respectively! 

Sooryavanshi is a joint venture of Rohit Shetty movies, Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Reliance Entertainment! We have to now wait and watch how the story is perceived by the viewers.
