Now recently, Neena has shared her experience of working in the South industry. Neena recently told one of the media houses, “South, I have acted in Telugu and Malayalam languages. ‘1000 Babies’ is my third project in Malayalam. There is a big difference between Bollywood and South cinema, which I think is that people in the South are more disciplined. They come to the set on time. Also, people there do not work in shifts… They don’t even complain about it. They all work together.”

Actor Rehman agreed with this statement of Neena Gupta and said, “Everyone is treated equally. We don’t discriminate… Of course, we have our reasons, but on the set, whatever comes, even if it’s food, everyone gets the same food. That’s what I like.” Directed by Nazim Koya, ‘1000 Babies’ is about the investigation of a mass infanticide case held in the city. The series features Neena Gupta in a very different avatar.

While talking about her show, Neena revealed that she was confused before saying yes to the project. She said, “After hearing the story, I was shocked and impressed. However, I was a little skeptical about doing the project because my role was very different. I had never done it before. And I was a little worried about it. I took my time and the next day I said, ‘Yes, I am doing it.'”
