Shah Rukh Khan is back because he is all set to play ‘Don’ again. SRK is going to play the iconic character but not in his buddy Farhan Akhtar’s movie. The latest gossip is that SRK is gracing the role for his lovely daughter Suhana Khan’s film “King.”
Pathan crew reunites
Siddharth Anand, the director of “Pathaan,” is returning with another action-packed film titled “King.” In this project, Siddharth will oversee the action sequences while Sujoy Ghosh will direct the movie. According to industry insiders, Suhana Khan, daughter of Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, has been cast in the lead role, and Gauri Khan herself will be producing the film.
Bollywood Badshah is gonna sport his long hair and a faint beard, per sources. “King” is supposedly Gauri Khan’s passion project. Here, the “Jawan” superstar will portray the role that has shades of grey. Shah Rukh Khan’s fans want to see him in cool roles with complex backgrounds, and “King” is going to fulfil their wishes.
Shah Rukh Khan support his daughter’s theatrical debut
“King” marks Suhana Khan’s big screen debut, while she already made her mark in the Netflix movie “The Archies.” She essayed the spoiled brat Veronica’s role in the famous comic book-inspired teen drama. SRK comes together with daughter Suhana and his producer wife Gauri Khan for this upcoming film.
In the movie, Khan plays “Don,” and the duo plays mentor and disciple. Reports say that SRK had invested INR 200 crore in the film under his Red Chillies Entertainment banner. The movie is named “King” because “Don” is the “king of the underworld.” Also, trade experts say that this Shah Rukh Khan film is loosely based on “Leon: The Professional,” a blockbuster Hollywood action thriller.
There was talk of the film getting shelved, but there is no truth to those stories. Currently, Suhana and SRK are undergoing intensive training from well-known international stunt teams for their action sequences in the motion picture. According to the grapevine, we get to see a lot of modern action scenes and stunts that appeal to SRK’s fans.
VFX enhancements, creative stunts, and hybrid live-action scenes are going to enthral global audiences. With all things going smoothly, the makers hope to release “King” by the second half of 2025. Needless to say, everyone is excited to see Shah Rukh Khan as “Don” once again.
