A surprising case came to the fore when the Hyderabad court granted interim bail to Jani Master, choreographer of the film ‘Stree 2’. The choreographer was arrested under the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses) Act. In his bail application, Jani Master has cited the National Film Awards ceremony to be held in Delhi on Tuesday to be his reason for getting bail. Let us tell you that Jani Master has received the Best Choreographer Award for the Tamil film ‘Thiruchitrambalam’ at the 70th National Film Awards to be given for the year 2022.

After a named report was filed against Jani Master, Andhra Pradesh arrested him on 20 September, but Hyderabad’s Rangareddy court has granted him interim bail. In the bail application, Jani Master said that he has to go to Delhi to attend the National Film Awards ceremony on 8 October, so he should be granted bail.

The Hyderabad court has granted him interim bail from 6 October to 10 October to go to Delhi. And, it has been ordered that he will have to surrender to the court as soon as the bail period ends. Jani Master is likely to come out of jail on Sunday. Seeing the serious allegations against Jani Master who was arrested in Goa, it seemed difficult for him to come out of jail so soon, but the court has accepted his argument for the National Film Awards.
