Kate Middleton looks magnificent in a red jenny packham gown at the Buckingham Palace Diplomatic Corps Reception.
Kate Middleton stunned the world on the red carpet at the Earthshot Prize Awards in Boston just days before, and she provided another stunning outfit for a dinner at Buckingham Palace. The Princess of Wales was dressed in her favourite jewels.
The Princess wore a stunningly magnificent red sequin dress for the occasion, known as the ‘Elodie Gown’ by Jenny Packham. She wore the earings of the late Queen Elizabeth II, as well as the GVCO and Royal Family Order.
On Tuesday, the Princess of Wales and her husband, Prince William, joined King Charles and Queen Camilla, the Queen Consort, at the royal home to hold a reception for members of the Diplomatic Corps.
Kate looked stunning in a scarlet Jenny Packham gown with sequin accents and topped her long hair with the Lotus Flower Tiara (also known as the Papyrus Tiara), her second tiara moment in less than a month.
This is her fourth time donning this exact headpiece; she last wore it in 2015 for a state banquet honouring China’s president, Xi Jinping, and paired it with a crimson gown.

Kate completed her appearance by wearing Queen Elizabeth’s diamond earrings and the royal family order, as well as the Dame Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order star and sash. Meanwhile, the Prince of Wales matched his wife in a black tuxedo.
Tonight’s reception honours one of the world’s largest Diplomatic Corps, and Their Majesties will meet delegates from countries accredited to the Court of St. James.
The most recent Diplomatic Corps Reception was held in December 2019 and was hosted by Queen Elizabeth. At the time, King Charles and Camilla, as well as the Prince and Princess of Wales, were in attendance.
