Rani thought she would never be a heroine
When Rani began her career, she did not have much faith in herself. She thought that she would never fit into the shoes of a typical main lead in films like her idols Sridevi and Rekha. be an actor. She thought her physical attributes would stand in the way.
In an interview that dates back to 2021, Rani had stated, “I never believed that I would fit into the heroine category in the typical sense because I was actually the opposite of heroines at that time. I am quite short in stature, my voice is not heroine-friendly, the complexion of my skin is wheatish.Forget about being a heroine, I never thought I could be an actor. I grew up watching Sridevi, Juhi, Madhuri and Rekha ji, who were just like goddesses on screen and I never imagined myself up there with them.”
