Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan is one of the most popular star kids in Bollywood. She recently made her acting debut in Zoya Akhtar’s ‘The Archies’, a film inspired by the American comic series. However, Suhana was not always comfortable with her father’s fame and the attention it brought her.
How SRK’s Fame Affected Suhana
In an interview with Vogue in 2018, Suhana opened up about how she felt when SRK would come to pick her up from school. She said that she realized early on that it was different for them, but she never really thought about her dad being famous.
She recalled that when she was about five, he would drop her off at school and people would point and stare. She said that he was not being addressed as Suhana’s dad, which is what she wanted. It confused her and made her very self-conscious. She added that he would want to hug her, but she would push him back in the car. She hated the attention.
How Suhana Came to Terms with Reality
Suhana said that over time, she learned to accept the reality of her situation. She realized that if she wanted to hug her dad, he would hug her. She also said that she was proud of him and his achievements.
She also shared her passion for acting and how she wanted to pursue it as a career. She said that she loved being on stage and performing. She said that she was not shy about expressing herself and that acting was a way of doing that.
