Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan’s daughter, Suhana Khan has grown up and will be making her Bollywood debut with Zoya Akhtar’s new release, The Archies. Ahead of her release, Suhana Khan recently attended a book launch event as a solo chief guest. In one of the conversations, Suhana disclosed a few shocking anecdotes from her life. She opened up about the culturally shocking moment she experienced while leaving her home at the mere age of 15 years.

Suhana Khan recalls leaving home at 15 to study abroad

Sensational diva, Suhana Khan recently graced a launch event with her presence. Let us tell you that it was the launch of actress, Koel Purie’s book, ‘Invisible in Paris’ and Suhana Khan was invited as a solo chief guest at the event. During the event, Suhana confessed how she relates to one of the book’s characters and shared how she felt about leaving home at the age of 15.

For the unversed, Suhana Khan went to New York and the UK to pursue her higher studies. It was a bit distressful feeling for Suhana to leave her home at such as young age. However, Suhana disclosed that life overseas has given her some good friendships, associations and hence a homely atmosphere. She further shared that home leaving came as a cultural shock for her. Recalling her immigrant story, Suhana Khan said:

“I wouldn’t call myself an immigrant and all, I went there to study. I left home when I was 15 for boarding school, so I think that was scary because it was definitely a culture shock and I think it took me a while to feel at home and when I did it was because of the people there and how their friendship, their love made me feel seen when I felt invisible.”

India marked the 77th Independence Day on 15th August 2023. To commemorate it distinctly, The Archies cast members served lunch to each other at a Mumbai restaurant. Some glimpses from the same are now doing rounds on social media, depicting Suhana serving food to the guests. Apart from her, we could also spot Khushi Kapoor, Agastya Nanda, Aditi Saigal, Vedang Raina, Yuvraj Menda and Mihir Ahuja in the pictures.

The entire crew opted to wear white ensembles to celebrate the occasion of the 77th Independence Day. Their stunning glimpses set social media ablaze and fans praised them.
