Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan often turn heads with her stylish appearances. Before even release of her first film ‘The Archies’ the lady is already a star.

Recently, Suhana made an achievement by becoming the youngest brand ambassador of the popular cosmetic brand, Maybelline. The company took her to show appreciation to dusky Asian skin tone. However, it seems like they are not abiding by their words. In the poster for the lipstick commercial, Suhana is seen in an extremely lightened skin colour. Now, this has made her and the brand a subject to massive trolling. She is receiving backlash for agreeing to ‘colour correct’ her tone and getting a fair complexion for the advertisement.

A reddit user shared Suhana’s poster with a caption, “Suhana Khan colour corrected pro max. She looks like Ankita Lokhande.”

Soon after, the post went viral and netizens started slamming Suhana and the brand for change in her skin complexion. One user wrote, “God forbid a woman is dusky in ads. WT* are these brands smoking these days?” Another commented, “Why did the brand apply pancake makeup to Suhana’s dusky face? It’s not flattering.” A third one joked, “Years of watching papa in ‘Fair And Handsome’ ads must have affected her.” “Issa baap ‘Fair And Handsome’ bechta tha,” pointed out a user. 

Let us tell you that Suhana was even called out for getting to represent Maybelline without any movie release. They opined that she has bagged it because of her megastar father.

Workwise, Suhana Khan is going to make her Bollywood debut with Zoya Akhtar’s ‘The Archies’. The film will also see Boney Kapoor’s daughter, Khushi Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson, Agastya Nanda stepping into the world of cinema.
