Dangal Actress Suhani Bhatnagar, Young Babita Kumari in Film, Passes Away at 19 in Delhi
Actress Suhani Bhatnagar is recognized for her portrayal of young Babita Phogat in the acclaimed film “Dangal.” The actress tragically passed away at the tender age of 19 in Delhi. Reports from Jagran suggest that Suhani had sustained a leg fracture some time ago, and the medication during her treatment had side effects on her health. During the treatment, the actress’s body began to retain fluid, leading to her untimely demise.

Suhani had been undergoing treatment at Delhi’s AIIMS hospital for an extended period. Her final rites are scheduled to be conducted in Faridabad on Saturday.
Renowned for her commendable performance in “Dangal,” where she shared the screen with stalwarts like Aamir Khan, Sakshi Tanwar, and Zaira Wasim, Suhani garnered praise for her portrayal of the young Babita. Following her stint in the movie, she also featured in several television commercials.

Despite her success in the entertainment industry, Suhani opted to take a hiatus from acting to prioritize her studies.

Her last Instagram post dates back to November 2021, featuring a couple of selfies. Prior to that, she used to frequently share photos and videos, including moments with her “Dangal” co-stars.

Released in 2016, the film stars Aamir Khan as Mahavir Singh Phogat, a former wrestler who trains his daughters Geeta and Babita to become world-class wrestlers. It received widespread praise for its powerful performances and inspiring storyline.
