In summers as the temperature rises more and more our appetite is suppressed and we drink more fluids. So it becomes essential to indulge in some summer essential power-packed foods to keep us charged up throughout the day. Though we feel lethargic in summers but working out is as important as it in winters to stay healthy.

Some Summer Hacks For A Healthy Lifestyle:

1. Prefer Seasonal Fruits And Vegetables

 Seasonal fruits and vegetables like celery, strawberries, mangoes, berries, etc offers the highest amount of nutrition. Also, fruits that have more water content should be incorporated into your diet as it keeps you hydrated. 

2. Keep Yourself Hydrated

Drinking fluids in summer can energize you and make your body function better. It also improves brain functions and maintains your weight and rejuvenates your skin. Eating plenty of fruits like musk melon, watermelon, oranges, etc can keep dehydration and other illness at bay.

3. Decrease Your Meal

In summer it is best to take light meals as your body takes a long time to digest the food. Avoid salty food in summer as it can raise your blood pressure owing to the excessive heat outside.

4. Switch To Cooling Foods

Foods like cucumber, coconut water and melon should be consumed more as it keep you hydrated and cools your body. These foods also enhance digestion, blood pressure and balance water and minerals.
