Bollywood actor Sunny Deol is a living legend. He stepped into films with the movie ‘Betaab’ and since then, there has been no looking back. The actor has given tremendous hits in his decades long career and his latest blockbuster ‘Gadar 2’ is just an addition to his already glorific filmography. Recently, Sunny graced Rajat Sharma’s popular show ‘Aap Ki Adalat’ where guests are put on trial in a funny way.
Sunny turns red on mention of hugging Amrita
In one of the promos that have come out, the host is seen narrating a comment from Sunny’s father, Dharmendra where he called his son a ‘sadhu’ of the family. Rajat mentions that the iconic actor had asked Sunny to hug his co-star Amrita Singh tightly during the song ‘Badal Yun Garajta Hai’ but he couldn’t do it. On hearing the incident, the actor gives an unmissable reaction. He couldn’t stop blushing and is left with a red face.
Sunny’s rumoured love affair with Amrita
Sunny and Amrita made their debut together with 1983 film ‘Betaab’. While shooting for the movie, the duo reportedly fell in love with each other. However, their rumoured fling was short-lived. As soon as Amrita realised that the actor is already married, she broke all ties with him. They never appeared together after this episode. According to reports, Sunny was a married man to Pooja Deol when he entered into the industry. He had kept his marriage hidden from the world because of his family’s advice.
Sunny’s speculated romance with Dimple
After Amrita, the actor fell head over heels in love with his ‘Manzil Manzil’ co-star Dimple Kapadia. At the time when their linkup news surfaced, Dimple was separated but legally married to Rajesh Khanna. Though Sunny and Amrita parted ways long back, they still raise eyebrows with their public spotting.
For the unversed, Sunny Deol was born as Ajay Singh Deol to veteran actor Dharmendra and his first wife Prakash Kaur. He has three siblings- Bobby, Vijeita and Ajeita and two half siblings- Esha and Ahana.
