Gadar 2 star is beaming with joy as his new release, Gadar 2 has broken all the previous box office records. The actor credits the success to his daughter-in-law, Drisha Acharya. He believes that his ghar ki lakshmi, Drisha restored all the luck and fortune with her arrival as a doting bahu in the Deol family. Reportedly, the 60-year-old actor reunited with his half-sisters, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol to celebrate the success of Gadar 2.

 

Well, this isn’t the first time when the actor has appreciated his bahu, Drisha Acharya. Sunny during one of the episodes of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, was asked how his son, Karan made Drisha meet him. The host further asked, ‘Did he go through Dharmji to convince you?’ Sunny responded to this by revealing that Karan never talked about it. It was his mother, who told him about Drisha. As Sunny Deol didn’t have any daughter, he thinks that Drisha’s arrival in the Deol family filled this place in his heart.

Sunny Deol’s much-awaited release, Gadar 2 is doing rounds all over the internet. If statistics are to be believed, the film is expected to break box office records in the coming weeks. Actor Sunny Deol speaking about the film’s performance said in a media interview:

“I am indeed very happy. When we did the second part of Gadar, we never knew it would be so loved by the audience. Two whole generations have gone by since we did the first Gadar. And still, people are as excited as they were the first time. I am amazed and very, very happy. We need some hits to keep the film industry on its feet.”
