Sunny Deol Reveals He Was Beaten Up By Relatives In Father Dharmendra’s Absence; Brother Bobby Says…

Comedian Kapil Sharma recently shared behind-the-scenes footage with Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol during their recent appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show. In the clip, Bobby stated that Sunny is stricter than their father Dharmendra, while Sunny explained that they grew up in a joint family and that most of his family would chastise him when Dharmendra was away on filming.

‘I am the result of all that’

Kapil asked Bobby and Sunny if they were strict parents. Bobby Deol replied and claimed that his elder brother (Sunny) is a stricter parent than he is. However, Sunny has a different story to tell.

Sunny said, “I don’t think it is like that. Papa was strict; we were also strict, but Papa used to be so busy shooting that I rarely saw him as a kid. Since we lived in a joint family with uncles and aunties, we used to interact with them more. Koi aisa nahi hai jisne merepe hath na saaf kara ho (No one in the family hasn’t beaten me up in the family) (laughs).” He added, “I am the result of all that.” Bobby added, “That’s why he can fight 100–200 people because he has taken so much beating as a kid.”

‘Sunny Bhaiya, Like Superman’

Meanwhile, on the show, Bobby compared Sunny with Superman and said that he is one of the most physically strong people he’s ever met. (Read More: Bobby Deol Opened Up About ‘Martial Rape’ Scene In ‘Animal’; “It just brought something out in me”)

“If there is someone strong, like Superman, in my life, it is Sunny Bhaiya. Because I have never seen anyone with strength compared to his. He’s had several back surgeries, but when there’s a shot that requires him to lift someone, he lifts them. He effortlessly lifts them as if they weigh nothing,” Bobby said on the Netflix show.
