Now, Dibakar has openly shared his opinion on Sushant’s death and the atmosphere that followed. In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, he said, “When he passed away, there was so much speculation about the cause of his death in the news. I had to detach myself from everything.

He questioned, “Where is the prayer meeting? Those who loved him could have hosted screenings of his films. Could have talked about good memories, where is all that?”
