Sushant Singh Rajput fulfils dream of blind kid during ‘Kizie Aur Manny’ shoot
The official Hindi remake of ‘The Fault In Our Stars’ went on floors last month. The cast and crew have started shooting the first leg of the film schedule in Jamshedpur past month. The remake is titled as ‘Kizie Aur Manny’ and currently, the shooting is going on in Ranchi. The film stars Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Sanghi in the lead roles. Bollywood’s topmost casting director Mukesh Chhabra is going to direct the film. This film will mark his directorial debut.
Recently, during the Ranchi leg of his upcoming film Kizie Aur Manny, serial dreamer Sushant Singh Rajput turned dream-fulfiller for a kid. While on the shoot at St Paul’s Church, Sushant got to know of a blind school near the set where the kids wanted to meet him. In between scenes, Sushant visited the school, shared some moments of joy with the kids and interacted with many of them personally, creating beautiful memories for all involved.
Not only this, he also got a chance to listen to a heartwarming song performed by a kid in front of his mates and teachers. It was a lifelong dream for the boy to sing for the Dhoni star Sushant Singh Rajput. Sushant was so moved by the boy’s performance that he hugged the little boy. The entire moment was heart touching, to say the least. The boy got what he wished for.
‘Kizie Aur Manny’ is being produced by Fox Star Studios and Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films. The original Hollywood film ‘The Fault In Our Stars’ is based on the novel of the same name written by John Green. The story revolves around two cancer patients and their love story. The story will be adapted to the Indian backdrop and sensibilities. The release date for the film hasn’t been announced yet.
