Sandip Ssingh was under a lot of scrutinies after the Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. He was the one who took complete charge of the belongings of Sushant and his funeral. However, when Sushant’s father or alleged girlfriend Rhea was asked about Sandip, both denied knowing him and how he went on to take charge of the actor’s funeral. Sandip Ssingh was one of those who rushed to Sushant’s house on June 14 soon after he heard of the actor’s death. Several other claims were made, and a video of Sandip reportedly making a gesture to Mumbai Police also surfaced. Now, clarifying his gesture towards a police constable, Sandip said, “When I reached Cooper Hospital with Mitu didi (Sushant Singh’s sister), a constable asked – who is Sandip? To which, instead of shouting, I showed thumbs up to tell that I was the person. What was wrong in that? Should I have cared about my gesture at that time?”

In an interview with India Today, Sandip also opened up about his alleged 4 calls to Ambulance driver between 14- 16 June. He was quoted saying, “Someone from the hospital might have given my number to him who called me up and asked for his payment. It was obvious that I did not ask his sister to clear the due considering the situation. I gave his number to Deepak Sahu who cleared his bill on not 14th but on the 15th and 16th.
