Shweta Singh Kirti, the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister, was recently on Preetika Rao’s show. She talked about her spiritual life and how she made peace with the loss of her brother. She even said that he “talks to her” now that he’s dead. The late Sushant Singh Rajput died in 2020. 

Shweta Singh Kirti: “He helped me find lost AirPods”

She said that her relationship with Sushant was “cute” because they were the same age. He has been with me a lot of the time. “We were so cute together, it was like we were twins,” she said.

She talked about something that happened after he died: “I lost my AirPods. I looked for them everywhere but couldn’t find them. Toh bhai, dheere se mere kaan mein bolta hain. He whispered in my ear. I could feel his voice, his husky voice. Tumhara AirPod tumhare curtain ke peeche hain. Jao waha par mil jayega.” (Your AirPods are behind the curtain on the window sill).

Fans overwhelmed

One fan wrote, “Look at the happiness while she is talking about him… it’s priceless. I want the people who kept her from seeing his beautiful brother to be punished.”

Another fan, though, wasn’t sure: “His Spirit talks about your earpod, but he didn’t talk about his death or his pain until he got justice. Showoff ki duniya se bahar aakar duniya dekhiye.” (Don’t show off, he never does that; he likes being himself. Grow up and talk about his justice instead of these things.)

Things to Know About Sushant

On June 14, 2020, Sushant’s body was found dead in his home. Maharashtra police said it was a suicide, but his family and fans said it wasn’t and asked them to look into the case further. Since then, the CBI has taken over the case, and they are still looking into it.
