During this she told that used to spend all her pocket money in buying Salman’s posters for her house so that she could use them in her room. So that the family members do not remove the posters from her room, she used to finish her homework on time.

Sushmita further told, ‘Whatever pocket money I got, I used to buy posters of Salman Khan and in those days ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ was released, so I also had a picture of the pigeon from that film because it was Salman Khan’s film.’ The actress further told, ‘My parents always used to say that if the homework is not done on time, then we will remove those posters, so I always used to complete my homework on time because those posters were sacred. I was in love with this man.’
