When Sushmita talked to Twinkle Khanna, she told her about how her dad reacted when the judge asked a shocking question in court.
Sushmita told Twinkle that the judge had asked her father, Shubeer Sen, if he was worried about her getting married after the adoption and if he agreed with her choice. She told her dad that he knew no dad would be okay with it, but he hadn’t raised his daughter to be a wife. “She has chosen to be a mother, and one thing I know my daughter will do is follow through,” Sushmita had said, with his quote.
