Swara Bhaskar, often in headlines for her outspoken views, has once again sparked conversation with her candid remarks. Known as much for her social media presence as for her acting, the Raanjhanaa star opened up about sexuality in a recent interview—this time in the presence of her husband, political leader Fahad Ahmad.
Speaking to Indian Express Screen, Swara remarked, “We all are bisexual. If you leave people on their own, they are naturally bisexual. Heterosexuality is just a belief, culturally embedded in humanity for thousands of years.” Fahad, seated beside her during the exchange, chose to stay silent while listening to her views.
The conversation took an even more personal turn when Swara, who is currently appearing with Fahad on the reality show Pati Patni Aur Panga—Jodiyon Ka Reality Check, revealed her crush. When asked by the host, she openly named Samajwadi Party MP Dimple Yadav, wife of former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav. Swara shared that she had recently met Dimple in person and candidly admitted her admiration. With a smile, she quipped, “I’ve already put my husband’s career in danger in Maharashtra, and now with this, the political scene in Uttar Pradesh may also not look good.” Her lighthearted comment left Fahad laughing.
Beyond the headlines, Swara is also embracing a new phase in her personal life. In 2023, she and Fahad welcomed their daughter, Rabia, just nine months after their marriage. Currently away from films, Swara is enjoying motherhood while actively engaging on social media, where her forthright opinions continue to grab attention.
