Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker attended the Afwaah screening on Thursday. She wore a purple saree with a heavy necklace. She asked the paparazzi to talk to to her like they did to Hollywood supermodel Gigi Hadid during her visit to India. A video of paparazzi telling Gigi ‘ikde (this side)’ while asking her to pose became viral last month.

Likewise, a paparazzo account shared the video of Swara from the screening. It showed Swara posing in a purple saree as photographers keep calling her name. They were asking her to pose in different angles.

The actress said that if the paparazzi do not say ‘ikde,’ she will not pose. She added, “Jaise Gigi Hadid ko bola, waise humse baat karo aap. Jo aapka Hollywood ka standard hai abhi.”

Meanwhile, Swara Bhasker celebrated her wedding in March. Her husband, politician Fahad Ahmad, is the state president of Samajwadi Party’s youth wing, Samajwadi Yuvjan Sabha. They did a court wedding. The actress wrote a beautiful caption. She wrote that they were looking for love but found friendship first. After that they found each other. She welcomed him to her heart. On the other hand, Fahad replied her. He thanked her for holding his hand forever.

After that, the couple celebrated their union with a multi-day celebration in Delhi. It included a Carnatic musical event, a qawwali night as well as a star-studded reception. It was attended by actors Jaya Bachchan, Akhilesh Yadav and various politicians like Rahul Gandhi etc. On the professional front, Swara Bhasker last acted in the film Jahaan Chaar Yaar.
