Actor Swara Bhasker has hit back at online trolls who questioned her husband Fahad Ahmad’s choice not to play Holi. Taking to social media, Swara criticized the intrusive remarks and reaffirmed the importance of personal choice in festival celebrations.
Trolls Question Fahad’s Absence from Holi Celebrations
Several social media users targeted Fahad Ahmad for not participating in Holi festivities. One comment read, “Why didn’t your husband apply colours?” while another remarked, “Blind devotee’s question: Why didn’t your husband play Holi?”

Another user claimed that Fahad’s decision “says a lot” and accused the couple of selective participation in festivals. One comment read, “If you people (your husband) respect each other’s faiths and really love you, they will participate in your festivals happily. When participation becomes one-sided, that’s the issue.”
Swara’s Sharp Response
Unfazed by the criticism, Swara responded firmly via her Instagram stories. She reposted photos from her Holi celebrations alongside a pointed message: “Happy Holi ya’ll! Gentle reminder: it’s possible to celebrate our festivals and share joy WITHOUT forcing people to participate.”
Her response was widely shared, with many supporting her stance on personal choice and mutual respect in relationships.
Swara and Fahad’s Personal and Professional Lives

On the professional front, Swara was last seen in the 2022 films Jahaan Chaar Yaar and Mimansa. She will next appear in Mrs. Falani, though the film’s release date is yet to be announced.
