Bollywood actress Swastika Mukherjee often treats fans and followers with her stunning pictures. She frequently posts bold and beautiful photos of herself on social media. Recently, the actress shared a bunch of snaps wrapped in a towel. While Swastika looked extremely gorgeous embracing her flaws in raw frames, a section of online users had a different take.

Taking to her Instagram handle, the actress dropped a series of images in which she is draped in a towel. In the caption, she spoke her mind and wrote that she is accepting her boobs as they are supposed to be at 40 for her body type and not like like those of Cameron Diaz. She is feeling okay about bra strap marks and is absolutely fine with her freckles which are not some kind of skin disease requiring urgent treatment or come with age. Swastika also told how she is flaunting her ‘chotto jhunti’ and feeling lit as she is growing her hair after 15 years.

Though the actress’ post was quite empowering and received love from her fans, it did not go down well with some netizens. As a result, Swastika received a lot of online backlash. One user questioned, “I don’t understand why girls are changing clothes or are in towel in front of everyone in reels these days? Isn’t it something we should do in private?” Another stated, “We all know what she is doing in the name of mirror selfie.” A third one penned, “Madam, getting attention and fame with display of body is called prostitution.”

Swastika hits back at trolls

The actress who never minces her words did not keep mum on all the nasty comments coming her way. She re-shared her towel pictures on X and blasted the trolls. Swastika wrote, “The photos that urged the civilised people on Instagram to verbally rape me. And the women turned into messiahs of culture and torch bearers of being the- Sushil Aurat. And the best part is no one reads the caption. No idea about thoughts behind a post. Just tear the woman apart.”

Workwise, Swastika Mukherjee majorly works in the Bengali film industry. Her last Hindi film was ‘Qala’ alongside Triptii Dimri and Babil Khan. The actress will come up next with ‘Love All’ opposite Kay Kay Menon.
