Tabu is on roll with back-to-back blockbuster films and describes them as eventful, challenging and tough. Tabu talked about her growing career success and how this year has been incredible for her.
Tabu is a talented and sophisticated actress in the Bollywood industry. This year, the versatile actress basked in the success of her films Drishyam 2 and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. She is currently on a roll in her career, with back-to-back releases. She has given several outstanding performances in recent years, including Jai Ho, Drishyam, Golmaal Again, and De De Pyaar De.
Tabu spoke to Indian Express about her growing career success and how she has worked extremely hard over the last year and a half.
She even mentioned how much she enjoyed working on all of her films. “Eventful, challenging, and tough,” the Andhadhun actress said, “because I was doing four to five films at the same time.”
I worked extremely hard over the last year and a half, as did everyone on the film team. There was COVID, then routine testing, and then people got COVID. It was an unusual situation for us. But I was having fun with my work – from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 to Khufiya, Kuttey, and Drishyam 2.”
While Drishyam felt like my own backyard! Back then, not many films were made in this genre, especially with well-known actors. It never occurred to me that there would be a sequel.
However, the Hindi adaptation was excellent. I expected it to be successful, but it has far exceeded my expectations. I believe my choices were successful.
On Professional Front: Tabu was most recently seen in Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 2 and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The film was directed by Abhishek. The crime thriller is a remake of the same-titled Malayalam film from 2021.
She also played a double role in Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The film was directed by Anees Bazmee.
