Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma does not like to mince words. After slamming media houses for invading her privacy and publishing her daughter Vamika’s photos in the past, she has recently reacted angrily to an international sportswear brand for doing their publicity using her pictures without permission. Sharma asked them to ‘take down the post’ as it is unethical to use someone’s imagery for benefit when that person is not even associated with you.
It so happened that a popular brand put out a post on their Instagram handle that featured Anushka in different sports outfits. They advertised their products and announced their season sale using the actress’ images. When Anushka saw it, she hit out at them through Instagram stories.
Re-sharing the post alongside a note, Anushka wrote, “Hey, @pumaindia? I’m sure you know that you have to take permission before you can use my imagery for publicity since I’m not your ambassador. Please take it down! (angry face emojis).” Interestingly, Anushka’s cricketer husband Virat Kohli had dropped a like on the same post.
Workwise, Anushka Sharma was recently seen in a cameo of a vinatge queen in Netflix’s Qala. The film which was bankrolled by Anushka’s brother, Karnesh Ssharma’s production house Clean Slate Filmz, stars Tripti Dimri, Babil Khan, and Swastika Mukherjee.
Anushka will soon be seen creating her magic on the silver screen with sports biopic Chakda Xpress. In the movie, she will be seen portraying the character of Indian pace bowler Jhulan Goswami. It is directed by Prosit Roy.
