Tamannaah Bhatia Caught In Trouble of Illegal Broadcasting of IPL 2023 Case
Sources revealed that Sanjay Dutt informed the Cyber Cell that he has prior commitments outside Mumbai and hence couldn’t be present for questioning on Tuesday.
It’s been reported that the Maharashtra Cyber Cell filed an FIR against the FairPlay app based on Viacom’s complaint, and to further investigate this case, Tamannaah Bhatia has been summoned for questioning.
Sources stated that since Tamannaah Bhatia promoted FairPlay, she has been called as a witness for questioning to understand who contacted her to promote FairPlay, how it was done, how much money she received, and how it was transferred.
It’s worth noting that in the same FIR, the Cyber Cell has also accused an application named ‘Pikasho’. When information about this application was gathered, it was found that the money coming from Google Adsense to this application was going to Pakistan.
Sources revealed that this application provides pirated copies of new movies and web series, and the advertisement revenue from Google goes to bank accounts under the names of Raseed and Junaid, located in a bank in the city of Rahim Yar Khan, Pakistan.
During the police investigation, it was estimated that around 5-6 crore rupees are transferred to these bank accounts in Pakistan every month from the traffic generated by these applications. The Cyber Police are now investigating all these applications and their unlawful earnings and usage.
