The linkup rumours surfaced after the football player attempted to put his phone number into a handmade bracelet during one of Taylor’s Eras Tour gigs in Kansas City, but was unsuccessful.

Travis Kelce attempted to pass on his phone number to Swift ahead of one of her performances on the record-breaking Eras Tour in an attempt to get closer to the superstar. Kelce told this anecdote on an episode of the New Heights podcast with his brother, Jason Kelce.

He revealed that he made a bracelet with his phone number on the beads and wanted to give it to Swift before her Arrowhead Stadium engagement in Kansas City. However, he was unable to present Swift with the bracelet.

Kelce told his displeasure, “That she is unable to speak before or after her shows because she needs to save her voice for the 44 songs she sings, so I was a little dissatisfied I wasn’t able the chance to give her a bracelet that I made.”

He joked that he took it personally, saying, “She doesn’t meet anybody or at least she didn’t want to meet me, so I took it personal, but it was an unbelievable show.”
