Mentor with a Similar Career Path

John Cena was a popular WWE star when he transitioned to films. The pro-wrestler, who has now turned actor, came to the film industry in mid 2010s. After almost 10 years as a wrestler, he had to learn the ropes coming to Hollywood. And who better than Cena to advise Travis Kelce on what not to do in Hollywood?

John Cena became famous for his supporting roles in films like Bumblebee, Trainwreck, and others before he committed to full-on lead roles. Peacemaker, Playing with Fire, the Fast & Furious franchise and other movies are well-known for John Cena in the main role. 

Meanwhile, he also kept up his brief wrestling appearances, planning to retire in the next 3 years. This part-time WWE star is a decorated champion in the circuit and among fans. His last film was the 2024 spy comedy “Argylle,” and “Ricky Stanicky” co-starring Zac Efron will be released on March 7th on Amazon Prime Video.

Travis Kelce Signs up for Film Production

While the Super Bowl champion hasn’t made plans to retire from sports, he has a new career now. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end took a big step into Hollywood by signing up as an executive producer. Tarvis Kelce is part of the crew on the low-budget dark comedy “My Dead Friend Zoe.”

Taking this opportunity, John Cena gave solid advice to the NFL player. “I would inspire him to reflect on his journey. He didn’t become a Super Bowl champion in a year. I bet he started playing football at a very young age, “ John Cena cautioned Kelce. 

Many people blindly trust fate, “People think you were born for this. But that is such a misconception,” he shrugged. Cena admitted to facing difficulties and failures, “I worked very hard and suffered a lot of setbacks and looked ridiculous and had a lot of failures.” And Zac Efron agrees, “You can’t put it any better than that, man.”

Finally, the “Barbie” actor has one thing to say, “Look at how long it took to be fluent in football. Just surround yourself with great teammates and good things will come from it.” With this upcoming film, Travis Kelce is expanding his multimedia empire. The Morgan Freeman-starred will premiere on March 9th worldwide. Recently, there were rumours of Tarvis Kelce’s engagement with Taylor Swift.
