In an interview, Rhea highlighted “Veere Di Wedding’s” box office achievement. She said she didn’t expect the movie to do that well. The film had the most incredible opening for a female heroine, leading the producer to say she overestimated the female audience.
Rhea continued, “I see no reason why a film made for a female audience cannot open on a significant holiday.” Her goal was to do something that thrills them, make them feel like they are being represented, and offer them a vast, exciting movie on holiday, precisely like the guys always did now that this audience has discovered their films and they have found our audience. Rhea explained how the concept for this movie first came to be.”
Ekta further emphasized that Tabu, Kareena, and Kriti each possess a unique charm that they bring to the screen. She claims that their acting prowess and alluring mystique have elevated them to the position of leading ladies in Bollywood during their time. Every single one dominated in their respective decade and still dazzled audiences. Ekta continued by saying that no one else could have performed the lead roles in ‘The Crew’ but these three individuals. They couldn’t have been happier because this is a dream cast.”
