The First Look Of Pippa Was Shared By Ishan Khatter- Shahid Kapoor Is All Praise
“Pippa‘ is the upcoming war drama of actor Ishan Khatter on Wednesday kicking off the first schedule in Amritsar. The movie is helmed by Raja Krishna Menon, the director of Airlift, along with featuring Priyanshu Painyuli, Mrunal Thakur, and Soni Razdan.
The billing of Pippa is done as a film of heroic tank battle that is considered to be underscoring Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta’s bravery, a veteran of the 45th Cavalry tank squadron, who was seen fighting on the eastern front along with his siblings during the Indo-Pakistan war of 1971.
Ishan will be playing the lead role in the movie as Brigadier Mehta and was invited by the production houses for providing the inaugural slate clap as commence of the film. He seemed to be taking to Instagram and shared the first look of the poster of the movie.
He captioned the poster saying, “This is going to be special. ‘Shooting’ begins for our #Pippa! Godspeed”. Soon after posting the first look, Shahid Kapoor commented on the post saying, “Ohooooo looking good”. Ananya Panday commented, “️ full power ”. Tiger Shroff also congratulated the Ishan. Other actors like Zoya Akhtar, Neha Dhupia, Adarsh Gourav, and Huma Qureshi also commented on his post congratulating him.
Ronnie Screwwala, the producer said that he was thrilled that the movie began when Brigadier Mehta was present on the sets. He stated, “Kicking off the schedule on such a positive note ensures a steady momentum throughout the course of the production. We’re raring to go with a brilliant ensemble cast and filmmaker Raja Krishna Menon, who has a savvy eye for war films”.
Producer Siddharth Roy also added saying, “I am thrilled that with RSVP we have been able to give this story the sweeping canvas it deserves, and that we have an accomplished director like Raja and an amazing cast and crew, to bring this vision to life. The team is excited to hit the floors today and we hope to bring our audiences a very special cinematic experience in theatres next year”.
The movie is considered to be based on the book “The Burning Chaffees” by Brigadier Mehta based on the amphibious war tank of Russia known as PT-76, known as “Pippa“.
