The Vampire Diaries Star Nina Dobrev Hospitalised After Fatal Bike Accident: ‘Long Road To Recovery’

Actor Nina Dobrev of The Vampire Diaries is presently recuperating from a serious bicycle accident. The actor posted a health update on Instagram, stating that her recovery would take a long time.

The 35-year-old actor posted before-and-after pictures of her hospital stay on Instagram on Monday, showing the extent of her injuries.

Nina shared a photograph of herself posing with a black motorbike on Instagram on Monday. There was another photo of her in a hospital bed with an IV on her left arm, a knee brace, a neck brace, and a patient gown on.

She shared a follow-up post on her Instagram Stories, but she withheld any further information regarding the accident. “I’m OK but it’s going to be a long road of recovery ahead,” she wrote alongside a picture of herself from the hospital bed”.

Her fellow cast members from The Vampire Diaries immediately left well wishes in the comments section after she shared the photos.

Actor Kayla Ewell wrote, “Making the hospital gown the new spring trend… love you! Handling it like a champ!”, while actor Claire Holt shared, “Not so sorry! Feel better”.

Twilight star Ashley Greene commented, “Always going big… heal fast”, with actor Julianne Hough sharing, “That’s my girl! Obviously, wouldn’t make jokes if you were not ok…”

Nina’s Olympian boyfriend Shaun White also posted a photograph on his Instagram Stories. It featured Nina on a private plane after she was released.

Some fans also took to the comment section to wish the actor a speedy recovery.

One wrote, “Hope you feel better soon needs (please stay inside)”, while one joked, “Girl, remember that vampire blood does not affect you anymore,” referencing her role on The Vampire Diaries.
