Madalsa Sharma’s fans got a big shock after the news of her leaving the show went viral. Now the actress has told the reason behind this in a conversation with one of the media houses. Regarding leaving the show, the actress said that her decision was not taken suddenly like her co-star Sudhanshu Pandey, but she was considering it for quite some time.

Revealing the reason for her exit from the show, she said, “When the show started in 2020, it had three main characters Anupama played by Rupali Ganguly, Vanraj by Sudhanshu Pandey, and Kavya by me. It was Kavya who turned Anupama’s life upside down and changed things for everyone.” Madalsa further said, “Kavya was shown as an independent and strong woman who had the courage to love and pursue a married man. My character developed tremendously, but in the last year I felt that the story had moved beyond Vanraj, Kavya, and Anupama.”

She further said, “There was not much spice or fire left in my character in this show. If Kavya had continued to play the same gray character as before, I would have remained a part of the show. The creative team has been trying to do something different with my character for the last few months, but nothing worked. So Rajan Shahi sir and I mutually decided that it is better for me to say goodbye to the show.”
