Global superstar Priyanka Chopra was 18 years old at the Miss World 2000 beauty pageant. She became the winner. The actress recalled her Miss India days. She reflected on her Miss World title. She talked about the pageant held at the Millennium Dome in London, UK. Recently, Priyanka said in an interview that she was the ‘millennium Miss World.’

She talked about her beauty pageant days. The gorgeous Priyanka said that pageants in India were ‘really revered.’ She added that it was important of ‘how eloquently you speak, how you behave.’

Meanwhile, Priyanka spoke about how she found out about her selection for Miss India 2000. She recalled telling her mother Madhu Chopra at the time that she was ‘so famous.’ The actress said that the runners of the Miss India pageant knew her too. She said that she had a ‘really high opinion’ of herself.

On the other hand, Priyanka talked about how she competed against ’96 women from around the world’ in the Miss World 2000 pageant. She added, “It was in London, it was called the millennium year. So, I am the millennium Miss World.” The actress said that there will not be any other one in this lifetime.

On the professional front, Priyanka ventured into films after she became the Miss World 2000. With the Tamil movie, Thamizhan, she made her acting debut in 2002. Her first Bollywood film was The Hero: Love Story of a Spy in 2003. She made a gorgeous appearance at Citadel premiere. The actress’ up-and-coming projects include Love Again with Sam Heughan and Celine Dion.
