On one hand, where high-budget films are failing to make an impact at the box office and Bollywood is experiencing a downturn, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, one of Bollywood’s finest actors, has spoken about the increasing costs of production and the abundance of actors.

In a recent interview, Nawaz revealed several secrets about Bollywood celebrities that are rarely discussed.

During an interview with HT City, Nawazuddin Siddiqui said, “This has been going on for a long time.” He further added that some celebrities throw tantrums on set, and there are some who have five vanity vans – one for eating, one for going to the gym, and others for various activities. He called it madness and questioned who needs five vanity vans.

The actor, who has built his image through powerful performances, said, “Why should an actor’s fee increase for production? This is absolutely wrong. Instead, money should be invested in films, which would be a sensible decision.”

Jokingly, Nawazuddin Siddiqui said that these celebrities have more extravagant habits than the actual Nawabs. The actor mentioned that he has no such demands.

He said, “My aim is only to do my work properly, and I want nothing else. I am ready for the shoot even before the production starts.”

It is worth mentioning that Nawazuddin Siddiqui has completed 25 years in the world of cinema. He began his career in 1999 with the film Sarfarosh.

Speaking about his journey, the actor said it has been an exciting journey for him. “What I had envisioned, the almighty has given me even more than that. I would like to thank all the directors who gave me the opportunity to work.”

Talking about new filmmakers, Nawaz said, “It makes me very happy to see new people coming into the industry with new stories, as it will give cinema a new dimension.”
