DeadAnt, a media and entertainment company at the forefront of Indian comedy, today announced the winners of the fourth edition of the DeadAnt Comedy Awards. Celebrating the pinnacle of comic excellence across multiple categories, DACA honored comedians and content creators who entertained fans throughout 2023. The winners were selected through audience votes on DeadAnt’s social media pages which garnered tremendous popularity.
Anubhav Singh Bassi
This edition’s Best Acting Performance category features Anubhav Singh Bassi and the Best Online Comedy Special category features Abhishek Upmanyu. Aditya Kulshreshtha aka Kullu emerged as the most exciting voice, while Tanmay Bhat was awarded the Best YouTube Channel. In the Critics Choice section, Kannan Gill shone in the Best Online Special category and Vir Das won the award for ‘Everything Everywhere’. Vir was also declared the ‘Most Inspiring’ Comedian in the Peer Picks category, while Mumbai comedy club ‘The Habitat’ won the Best Venue award.

Anubhav Singh Bassi while sharing his reaction to winning the award said, “Thank you on behalf of all the comedians. If all comedians keep getting the kind of roles I got, then our industry will keep expanding like this. Love you. Thank you.” Kannan Gill on winning the DeadAnt Comedy Award said, “Thank you so much DeadAnt. This is super sweet. I have never really won anything, so this is nice.”

Abhishek Upmanyu, who won the Best Online Comedy Special category, said, “Winning this award reminds me of school. I am happy to win in this category. The trophy looks amazing and the creators of the trophy really deserve the award.” Aditya Kulshreshtha shared his reaction to becoming ‘The Most Exciting Voice’ and said, ‘Thank you so much to DeadAnt for this award and the audience who voted for me. I am so happy that I won this award and I am speechless.’
