This Is How Jennifer Winget Overcame Emotional Trauma After Her Divorce From Karan Singh Grover
The very talented and gorgeous beauty Jennifer Winget is riding high on success with back to back successful TV shows. We saw her innocent and mesmerizing avatar in Saraswatichandra. Soon after that show got over, she came back to rule TV screens with a rather sassy role, i.e Maya in Beyhadh! She shed off her ‘sanskaari’ image and played a psychopath boss lady with sheer perfection. Now that Beyhadh is over, Jennifer is winning our hearts yet again with her ongoing stint in Sony TV’s Bepannaah.
However, her personal life hasn’t been much merry. The actress fell madly in love with her Dill Mill Gaye co-star Karan Singh Grover and got married to him in a Christian wedding. The couple, who took their love from reel to real, ended up getting divorced because of Karan’s philandering ways.
While Karan moved on to marry Bipasha, Jennifer has been committed to her work post the divorce. Unlike other contemporary couples who continue to maintain cordial bond after separation, Karan and Jennifer haven’t been in touch ever since they parted ways.
But in one interview last year, Jennifer once opened up about her bonding with her ex-husband. The stunning actress confessed that they are not in touch with each other but she wouldn’t mind being friends with him.
She said, “I am not in touch with Karan but I don’t mind being friends with him. We have shared a lot at one point. Every person has good and bad qualities but I choose to focus on the good. Even I have flaws, so why not?”
Well, that’s so genuine on your part, Jennifer! But we doubt if Karan’s present wife, Bipasha will ever let that happen.
When asked if reports about Karan Singh Grover bother her anymore, here’s what she said, “These little things don’t bother me anymore. I have so much love from my fans, family, and colleagues that I don’t have the inclination to see what is happening in someone else’s life.”
“My past has helped me grow as a person. It has made me who I am today. I will always be grateful for every single person that has come into my life and gone away. After all isn’t that what life is all about? Put these experiences in your bag, have a smile on your face, and walk ahead,” she further added.
The actress is happily single in her 30’s and feels that this empowers her. “It’s amazing. I was never totally single in my life, and now in my thirties, I am. Also, now I am more mature, I understand people, and I’m not naive or stupid. Every girl should be single at 30. It’s a liberating feeling to be free. Guys hit on me, and it feels good. They get intimidated by me, and I feel powerful. I feel people should have humour in their lives, as it makes it easy to handle any situation. At present, I don’t feel a lack of anything in my life,” she said.
