This Is What Karan Johar Is Gifting Sonam Kapoor On Her Wedding!

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s wedding is almost around the corner and Anil Kapoor’s residence has already become the centre of attraction. Since there are only a few days left for Sonam and Anand’s marriage, wedding preparations are in full swing.

Last night, Arjun Kapoor and Karan Johar were snapped arriving at Anil Kapoor’s Juhu residence to be a part of the pre-wedding celebrations. The two were later joined in by Varun Dhawan and Jacqueline Fernandez for the Sangeet Rehearsals. To share a glimpse of the ‘Shaadi Wala Ghar’ and the dance rehearsals, Karan Johar and Varun Dhawan even took it to their social media accounts and posted a couple of videos which are now going viral on the internet.

The first wedding ceremony is the Mehendi ceremony which is scheduled to happen tomorrow and the venue for the same is Sunteck Island, BKC. The rituals will begin at 4 pm. Followed by Mehendi is the wedding ceremony, which is scheduled to take place on May 8, in the morning. And as reported before, it will take place at Rockdale, Bandra, which is also Sonam’s aunt’s bungalow. The wedding rites will begin at 11 am and will go on till 12:30 pm. After the wedding, the two families will host a reception party, the same day in the evening. The venue for the party is The Leela, Mumbai. The party will kick-start at 8 pm.

As the wedding is inching closer, Sonam’s Bollywood friends are busy deciding what to gift the bride-to-be on her D-day. And if reports are to be believed, the ace filmmaker, Karan Johar has already rounded out on some special gifts for her. Revealing the details about his gift for Sonam, a source recently confirmed, “For Sonam Kapoor’s special day, Karan Johar will be gifting her Amrapali Jhumkas, a pair of silver kadas and uncut diamond chandelier earrings. Both the jhumkas and the kadas are silver coordinated sets. Apart from this jewellery, Karan has also brought a Kanjeevaram saree for the bride to be! That’s not all. KJo has custom ordered a thali full of motichur laddoos that would be flown in from Nathus in Delhi.”

Well, we must say that there couldn’t have been a better gift than this. Also, you never know if the soon-to-be bride pairs it with her attire during one of her wedding functions and leaves us mesmerized with her glamorous look.
