Kartik Aaryan started his modeling career while at university, and after three years of unsuccessful auditions for films, he pursued an acting course at Creating Characters Institute.

When Kartik was in his third year, he came across a casting call on Facebook and, after six months of auditions, finally made his Bollywood debut with Luv Ranjan’s “Pyaar Ka Punchnama.”

His monologue in the film was a massive hit. During that time, he lived with 12 struggling actors in an apartment and earned money by cooking for them.

Recalling his early struggling days, Kartik Aaryan told Raj Shamani in an interview, “I always had a big ‘battle’ with money. Growing up in Gwalior, we were in debt because my parents were in debt. It wasn’t that we were poor, but we weren’t rich either. In such a situation, we had more debt than income.”

Talking about borrowing money from friends, he further said, “When I came to Mumbai, I had taken an education loan. It has been a life of loans, a life of borrowing among friends.

He Expressed: For a long time, I got used to borrowing money from friends and telling them that I would return it in a few days. When I came to Mumbai, I knew I had to earn. I was tired of borrowing money and traveling by train…”

Kartik’s life has completely transformed from borrowing money from friends and living on loans. The actor has become one of the highest-paid actors in the industry.

According to reports, Kartik Aaryan charges 40 crores per film today. However, for his latest release “Chandu Champion,” in which he played the role of Murlikant Petkar, he reportedly reduced his fee and charged 25 crores for the film.
