Triptii Dimri previously appeared on the cover of Vogue India Magazine, where she revealed stories from her working life. She said that after seeing her private moments with Ranbir Kapoor in the movie Animal, her parents were alarmed. She continued by saying:

“My parents got a little taken aback. (They said) we have never seen something like this in films and you have done it. It took them time to get over that scene. They were very sweet to me though. They were like, you shouldn’t have done that but it’s okay. As parents, we will obviously feel this. I told them I was not doing anything wrong. It’s my job and as long as I am comfortable and safe, I don’t see any problem with that. I am an actor and I have to be 100 per cent honest with the character that I play and I did that.”

Triptii revealed her feelings after big success of Animal

In another interview with News18, Triptii Dimri reflected on the immense popularity and renown she gained for her performance in the film Animal. She continued by saying that at first, she had no idea that someone would show her such a great deal of affection for such a minor part. According to her:

“I was very nervous on the first day. I knew the film would do well, but I wasn’t expecting this kind of response from Zoya. I thought, ‘It’s a small role, and it will come and go.’ But I wasn’t expecting to receive so much love or even be noticed. I haven’t been able to sleep.”
