Trisha’s Triumphant Return: Sharing Screen Space with Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna!

In 2016, Trisha Krishnan last appeared in a Telugu film titled Nayaki, a comedy horror film. Recent reports from Pinkvilla suggest that the actor is poised for a comeback in Telugu cinema with not one, but two projects alongside Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna. Despite her filmography listing only one upcoming Tamil project, sources reveal she has indeed agreed to feature in two Telugu films.

A fantasy thriller

Trisha Krishnan initially joined Chiranjeevi in Koratala Siva’s Acharya but reportedly parted ways due to creative disparities. However, she has now given her nod to collaborate with the Tollywood star once again, this time for Vasishta’s upcoming film titled Vishwambara. A source reveals, “The makers approached the actor, and she agreed to come on board the project.” Despite this, an official announcement is still pending.

A love story

After Naa Saami Ranga, Nagarjuna will return to doing what he does best – romance on-screen. Titled Love, Action, Romance, the film will be helmed by KE Gnanavel Raja. The film’s details have been kept under wraps but buzz is that Trisha has given her nod to star in this project also. “The film will go on-floors sometime next year,” says the source. An official announcement is yet to be made.

Trisha’s recent projects

This year, Trisha appeared in three projects: Ponniyin Selvan 2, The Road, and Leo. Ponniyin Selvan 2, where she reprised her role as Kundavai, garnered positive reviews from both critics and audiences. In The Road, she portrayed Meera, a woman determined to uncover the true cause of a family tragedy. The film received mixed reviews.

In Leo, Trisha portrayed Sathya, a woman whose husband is mistaken for someone else. Her performance was well-received, paving the way for her return to Telugu cinema. Additionally, she is set to star in an upcoming project titled Vidaa Muyarich, alongside Ajith and Regina Cassandra.
